Try this typical Argentinian dessert, a mixture of bread pudding and apple pudding, a delight.
INGREDIENTS
250gr of sliced sandwich bread
4 eggs
300 gr. of skinless apples cut into cubes = 3 apples
1 tbsp of lemon juice
100 gr. of sugar (50 gr for apples and 50 gr for tarantella)
1 pinch of salt
300 ml. milk
200 ml. of milk cream
1 tbsp vanilla
For the candy:
150 gr. of sugar = 8 tablespoons.
1 apple without skin sliced in julienne.
PREPARATION:
In the mold to use add the 8 tablespoons of sugar and bring to the fire until it melts and turn dark golden color, remove from the heat and distribute the candy on all the walls of the mold, before cooling the caramel place the apple slices and let let the caramel cool and harden, reserve.
Cut the apples into cubes and place them in a pot with the lemon juice and half the sugar and let them cook for about 5 minutes.
In the blender place the eggs and the rest of the sugar and beat well, then add the cooked apples and vanilla.
Mix the milk and the cream of milk and add the bread in pieces without the edges. Moisture well add the egg mixture, mix everything very well with a palette until everything is well integrated.
To place the mixture in the mold and to take to the pot to cook to bath Maria, during 1 hour to high fire, with the covered mold. Then remove from the pot let cool and unmold,
