The Gypsy Picnic in Austin, Texas had over Food Trailers ( Vendors ) along with live music and perfect weather. This was the first year of the Gypsy Picnic at Auditorium Shores on Saturday, Nov. 6. This food festival was a one day festival and free to the public. I think the goal of the vendor festival was to let Austinites try a variety of Austin's growing food trailers, but with the 2 hour lines to try one vendor the fest failed at that. Next year maybe it will be better organized. Still it was a great addition to Austin's many festivals.
