Symphony Series in Wooldridge Square Bring your picnic basket and blanket and enjoy the Austin Symphony this fall in historic Wooldridge Square. Playing popular big band tunes by the likes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Bert Bacharach, George Gershwin, and Oscar Hammerstein, the Symphony's 16-member Big Band will bring back memories of a simpler time when performances in downtown gathering places were commonplace.
