Custard is a homemade dessert, very old, delicious and very simple to prepare and there are many variations in its preparation, depending on the country, region or simply family tradition, this is just one of these variations, is Venezuelan style.
INGREDIENTS:
3 eggs
1/2 liter of milk = 500ml
1 level spoonful of cornstarch = 15 gr
1/2 cup of sugar = 110 gr
2 pieces of lemon peel
1 cinnamon stick
cinnamon powder.
PREPARATION:
In a saucepan, and over low heat, place the milk with the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel .
At the first boil it is removed from the heat, allowed to cool to room temperature and strained.
Add the eggs, sugar and cornstarch, beat well and place again on the heat, stirring constantly, let it begin to boil.
Allow to cool again, place in the mold (s), sprinkle with cinnamon powder and place in the refrigerator.
