Without a doubt, Bolognese sauce is one of the most used pasta sauces in our kitchen. The Bolognese, presents a great combination of tomato and meat that make them a perfect dressing for many dishes.
Ingredients:
500gr of ground beef
1 onion cut into cubes
8 cloves garlic crushed
1 grated carrot
1 cup of pasta or tomato pulp
500gr of ripe tomatoes without skin and cut into small cubes
1/2 cup of white wine
1 teaspoon dried ground oregano
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon sweet paprika or paprika
2 teaspoons of salt
olive oil to taste.
preparation:
In a bowl or casserole place a good squirt of olive oil, add the finely chopped onion, stir for 1 minute for the onion to sauté and tranparent,
add the crushed garlic, stir and add the grated carrot, add the ground meat and stir well add 2 bay leaves, the ground oregano, the paprika and a teaspoon of salt, stir and let cook a few minutes covered.
Add the diced tomatoes and mix well, add the tomato paste or pulp, add the wine, mix well, cover and let cook for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes try to see if you need salt and add if you need at least 1 teaspoon of salt, cover and cook another 5 minutes.
Bolognese sauce is ready to accompany any type of pasta and is delicious.
