Dark Pixel Imaginary Warzone - Official Trailer

  1. ECMProductions: omg can't wait
  2. Andy001z: Looking forward to this. Slick trailer
  3. JayFolipurba: Holy balls, that looks epic. I can't wait. I love the series.
  4. Dark Pixel: Thanks! Episode one is almost finished!!
  5. CZsWorld: I know this is often overlooked, but really top notch color correction.
  6. Theolppoman: My god that is awesome!
  7. Dark Pixel: Thanks, man!!
  8. Hinemther: You cant ignore the reviews. So trustworthy you have to see it
  9. Tanner Roberson: SO EXCITED!
  10. jonn mace: +Dark Pixel / Warialasky My excitement level is through the roof! :-D
  11. BakaNeeChan: Oh boy cant wait!!!
  12. Christina Kersten: This is actually happening?!!??
  13. Lex Lycan Fandubs Soul White House: por favor tienen que poner subtitulos en español para esto se ve super genial
  14. Dark Pixel: Considering the fact that you left the same comment on two videos, you must have really wanted us to see it. Since that is the case, I have to ask what you mean by "structuring"... also what specific complaint do you have with our cinematography? If you would like to see us improve in certain areas, it would be a lot more helpful if you gave specific critiques. I'm not trying to be rude or dismissive, but specific critique is necessary to help someone understand what you feel they can do better. However, in doing so I also think it's important to make sure your expectations are reasonable. This entire series was made on a budget of roughly $100 (mostly food for the volunteers). You can't hold someone to Hollywood level standards on a $100 web series.
  15. Dark Pixel: +The Bagg The workload to get these episodes finished has been really heavy. We're doing our best, but there's only so much three guys can do in one day. It should be ready by this Thursday for sure, though!
  16. Ender LaFollette: You guys just keep getting better and better. Trailer is EPIC. Keep it up.
  17. Zach Maxfield: THIS IS THE GREATEST TRAILER OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Les Rats-Jeux 2.0: yo !
  19. Dark Pixel: It's going down!! Everyone who has asked us for another Imaginary War Zone video, this is for you!!
  20. zaandarbrow: Best Thing Ever! Season 2 :)?
  21. Dominik Doherty: this looks awesome =D
  22. Léo L'escargot: OOOOH YEAAAAAAH ! THE movie I want to see from the first IW !
  23. Dark Pixel: +TheWyldstalion I appreciate you coming to our defense, but I'm actually totally open to criticism as long as I can clearly understand what the person thinks we can do better. I wasn't trying to be defensive with my comment, just trying to get a better handle on why aripockily doesn't like our cinematography. I think we do a pretty good job, so if there's some aspect of cinematography I'm missing I'd like to know what that is.
  24. DiscoClam: Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
  25. Andy001z: Looking forward to this one, trailer certainly got me interested.
  26. Owen Baker: This looks amazing another badass production from darkpixel What I'm really waiting for is another Skyrim video any news on that? Can't wait to watch the next warzone
  27. aripockily: I have high hopes for you guys. My main complaint has always been your cinematography and structuring. Let's see if you have improved.
  28. Schnitzeldroid: Freddie Wong ;-D
  29. Rate Works: Will be looking forward to this.
  30. Dark Pixel: Thanks! We really tried to give it a cold and hopeless feel. Glad you liked it!
  31. VikhrovZ Channel: HYYYYYYYYYYYPE!!!!!!!!
  32. The Bagg: Me to
  33. TheWyldstalion: Cause homemade awesomness uploaded to youtube needs a million dollar budget and some smugness from a scrub. How bout you zip it and watch the episodes when they come out, then get specific with details on what you did or didn't like. Or you could do better?!? Let's see you write a script get your friends to help and record with whatever awesome camera you own and then we all will decide who gets the YouTube Oscar, Dark Pixel or not you.
  34. cynthiadustdevil: Imaginary warzone was my fav warialasky video!!
  35. Ethan Berry: So much yes, so little time!
  36. Owen Baker: that sucks thank you for answering me that kinda sucks but like I said your content is still awesome
  37. ClassyDogFilms: This looks AWESOME! Not just the film itself, but the editing of the trailer; very well done. You guys are definitely continuing to improve as filmmakers. Can't wait to see the finished episodes.
  38. Rad Radish: So. Much. Epicness. Can't wait!
  39. Redlius1: Oh hell yes!! Can't wait!!
  40. Zephyr Pictures: Can't wait to see this! :D
  41. 1996isover: Let's hope this franchise gets popular enough to start funding _Imaginary Warzone: The Movie_ on Kickstarter. :P
  42. Rumle Kjaer: Thought it "just" was a fake trailer for a feature film, AND THEN IT'S A TRAILER FOR FOUR EPISODES!!!!! WOOOOOOOT!!!!! MIND BLOWN!!! CANT WAIT!!
  43. Dark Pixel: Yes it is :)
  44. Gaslamp Films: I'm excited for this, also I'm glad I was able to be a part of it (albeit a small one).
  45. The Bagg: It is April 26 and and episode 3 part 2 is not out I want to see it sooooo bad
  46. Nerdy Nachos: CANT WAIT!
  47. GoSenHyaku: Just take my money already!!!!
  48. bfox135: My body is ready
  49. aripockily: +Dark Pixel / Warialasky Sorry I left the comment on the wrong video so that's why there are two comments! I've commented on many of your videos before: I've criticized the lack filled scenery in Star Fox: Invasion and praised your Pokemon Trainer Brawl ("The cinematography choices made here really turned out well for this type of video where it was best to stick to one side of the screen. The color correction was good for this type of video as well; bright, colorful, and fun. Great pacing; proper introduction, proper build-up with increasingly impressive choreography, ending with a twist that creates a lasting impression for your audience.") So that sums up most of what I mean by structure and cinematography. Now the episodic nature will require different plot structuring, so I can't be sure yet, but I like working by studying precedents - a pretty big precedent is VGHS of course, but that's longer, so you need to apply parts of that to your video; find what worked and what didn't. Most of your videos were short enough to not need specific structuring, but I've left structure comments before such as "5) Chase scene was too cool to be filler, but not cool enough to be its own section. Final fight scene was not climactic enough for effect. Overall structure was good." Just gotta make sure each section, the rise, climax, falling effect, etc, are properly paced. It's different for every video so not much to say from a trailer. Cinematography-wise, you guys in the past needed: - more B-roll of objects or fists or just swords doing things. I mentioned this in the Taxman fight where you get more visceral action from close-ups of a fist utterly destroying a wall where it missed. Or focusing on objects doing things will flesh out the world better. - variations in height, more contrast between objects (even just for people talking to people, so that it doesn't feel like the viewer is carrying their own camera and walking around) - close-ups where there needed to be (SoulCalibur - Kilik vs. Mitsurugi had none, which is fine if there wasn't much story aspect in that video). It's not that there needs to be close-ups, more that it needs contrast in scale to establish shots. - framing things better. For places where you do have contrast, the objects might be taking too much or too little of the video space for the contrast to be effective. Example is Cookie Clicker when you have the shot focusing on cookies, then the hand clicking. That wasn't too noticeable. If the cookies took up more of the screen space, it would be more noticeable; if you panned slightly from cookies to hand, it would be more deliberate; if you could make the focus contrast even more, it would be more noticeable (but you had limited room space). I've basically noticed that your side-scrolling (Pokemon), first person (Golden Eye), or third person (Splinter Cell) videos have been clearer than the cinemagraphic videos. Other really great videos you guys did were IW one, Tetris, Valentine's, any of your music videos. Real Life DLC had perfectly shot fight scenes. I don't mean to be harsh and critical but you guys have lots of potential and I wish you all the best. I'm also not a professional (or even amateur) filmmaker so take everything I said with a big grain of salt.
  50. Chanarchy: I see star wars, skyrim in my favorite youtube series ever! Can't wait!
  51. Telmach: Episode 3 part 1 & 2, you cheeky bastards. I see what you did there.
  52. Pmr358: YES!!!!!!
  53. jonn mace: Epicness ensues!!
  54. Bigsmile: Amazing, never been this exited over a internet series.
  55. Angel Herrera: Fisrt coment!
  56. FinalGrade: Can't wait guys :D
  57. Dark Pixel: Unfortunately, Machinima seems to show no interest in continuing that Skyrim series. Without a proper budget we really can't do what we were planning on doing to finish that story.
  58. shroomaster4911: awesome!!!!!!
  59. Pradansky: HYPE!!
  60. Michael States: 4 MORE EPISODES OF IMAGINARY WAR ZONE? I AM SO THERE! When you guys said you were going to make another imaginary war zone I had no idea it was going to be this HUGE! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!
